Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Monitor YT is operated by Mehul Mohan Global Technologies FZCO, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. For anything privacy-related, email support@monitoryt.com.

2. What we collect

• Your Google profile when you sign in: name, email address, avatar, and Google account ID. That's our only sign-in method, we never see or store a password.
• The channels you track and the events derived from them.
• Basic request logs (IP, path, timing) for keeping the service running and debugging.

3. What we deliberately don't collect

• No card details. Payments are processed entirely by Stripe; we store only Stripe's customer and subscription identifiers.
• No ad trackers, no third-party analytics. The only cookies we set are functional: a session cookie (30 days) and a short-lived sign-in state cookie (10 minutes).

4. Public YouTube data

Titles, thumbnails, and subscriber/view counts in your feed come from publicly visible YouTube pages. They describe channels, not you, and channels are shared across all users who track them.

5. Service providers

We run on a small set of infrastructure providers that process data on our behalf: Google (sign-in), Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting and thumbnail image storage), PlanetScale (database), wsrv.nl (image resizing proxy through which channel avatars and thumbnails are loaded), and Google Fonts (typefaces on these pages).

6. Retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. Deleting your account (billing page) immediately wipes your channel list and signs you out everywhere. We retain a minimal record, your email and Google account ID, solely to prevent deleted accounts from re-registering. If you want even that erased, email us and we'll remove it.

7. Security

All traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS), sessions are server-side and expire automatically, and sign-in state is cryptographically signed. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the surface deliberately small.

8. Children

The service is not directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

If this policy changes materially, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above.
