About Monitor YT

A small, focused tool for creators who'd rather learn from their niche than guess at it.

Why it exists

Winning on YouTube is half craft, half pattern-spotting. The channels in your niche are running experiments every single day โ€” rewriting titles, swapping thumbnails, testing what makes people click. Most of it goes unnoticed unless you're refreshing their pages by hand.

Monitor YT watches for you. Add the channels you care about and it checks them every 15 minutes, recording each new upload, title rewrite, thumbnail swap, and subscriber milestone into one clean timeline. No spreadsheets, no manual checking โ€” just a running log of what's working for the people you're up against.

How it's built

It runs entirely on Cloudflare's edge โ€” Workers, a cron-driven poller, and headless browser rendering โ€” so checks happen quietly in the background and the app stays fast wherever you are. It's intentionally small: do one thing, do it well, and stay out of your way.

developer ยท educator ยท builder

I'm a software developer and educator who builds tools I wish existed. I run codedamn, teach programming to a large audience on YouTube, and ship small, sharp products on the side โ€” Monitor YT is one of them. I built it to scratch my own itch: keeping an eye on a fast-moving niche without burning an hour a day doing it manually.
